These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Next Goal ("Next Goal", "we", "us", or "our"), a web-based platform that helps student-athletes connect with college coaches through personalized outreach. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Users under 18 must have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis and automatically renew unless canceled.

All payments are securely processed through our third-party provider, Stripe.

Fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

3. Gmail Integration

If you connect your Gmail account, you authorize us to send emails on your behalf using content you explicitly create or approve.

We only request the Gmail API scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send

We do not access, read, store, or analyze your inbox or any other Gmail content.

Gmail access is used solely to deliver messages you initiate via the Next Goal platform.

Our use of Gmail data complies fully with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use Requirements.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Send spam, unsolicited, or misleading communications
Harass, impersonate, or threaten others
Violate any applicable laws or third-party rights
Upload malware or attempt to disrupt or compromise the platform

5. Content & Ownership

You retain all rights to content you create or upload (e.g., email messages).

We only store and transmit your content to provide the Service.

You are solely responsible for the legality and content of all communications sent using the Service.

6. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Service and related data may be removed.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee email delivery, specific outcomes, or uninterrupted access.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the total amount you paid in the past 12 months or $50, whichever is greater.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Next Goal, its affiliates, and service providers from any claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. All legal proceedings shall take place in the state or federal courts located in California, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the platform or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
